OKReady is administered by the Oklahoma Insurance Department to help homeowners strengthen roofs against Oklahoma’s severe weather. The mitigation standard adopted by the program is the FORTIFIED Home—Roof™ (High Wind) designation with the Hail Supplement.

OKReady is administered by the Oklahoma Insurance Department to help homeowners strengthen roofs against Oklahoma’s severe weather. Grant communications note funds are paid to the contractor on the homeowner’s behalf after the IBHS certification is issued.

Select an approved OKReady contractor from your quilified bids

Document milestones (tear-off / dry-in / completion)
Collect required photos and supporting documentation at each stage so the IBHS submission is complete.

Submit for IBHS review + receive certification
After completion, documentation is submitted for audit and issuance of the FORTIFIED™ designation certificate.

Grant funds issued per OKReady rules
Gant funds are paid to the contractor on the homeowner’s behalf after IBHS certification is received.

Simple, two-step pricing
Pricing for Grant + FORTIFIED™ Evaluation Support
Start with a qualifying inspection. If you qualify and move forward with a contractor, we handle the documentation, grant paperwork support, and the FORTIFIED™ application workflow through certificate completion.
Step 2: Documentation + Certificate Completion
Once approved and you select a contractor, we coordinate documentation and submission through completion.

Most projects follow the two-step structure: qualifying inspection first, then completion support when the roof work is finished.
$650 total (Step 1 $200 + Step 2 $450)
The $200 qualifying inspection is fully refundable if you do not qualify.
Step 2 is billed at completion after you are approved and have chosen a contractor.
